LIN works in undyed linen, washed cotton, and raw wool from three family-run mills. No two bolts of fabric are quite the same — and neither is what you’ll wear.

Undyed wool from a single flock in the Cotswolds, cut long and unlined so it softens with wear rather than wearing out.
We buy fibre, not fabric — flax from Normandy, cotton from a single co-op in Gujarat, wool from a flock we’ve followed for six seasons. It’s slower, and it costs more. We think you can feel the difference.
Every LIN piece is made to be repaired, not replaced. Bring anything back to us and we’ll mend it for the cost of thread.
